Ángela Hernández Cajo

Ángela Teresa Hernández Cajo (Lima, June 30, 1961) is a Peruvian lawyer and politician.

She is the current Minister of Women and Vulnerable Populations in the government of Dina Boluarte, as of April 1, 2024.

[1][2] Ángela Hernández Cajo studied Law and Political Science at the National University of San Marcos (1978–1986).

At the same university, she completed a master's degree in law with a mention in Criminal Sciences (1991–1993).

[4] Minister of Women On April 1, 2024, Ángela Hernández was appointed as the new Minister of Women and Vulnerable Populations by President Dina Boluarte, replacing Nancy Tolentino Gamarra [es], as part of the ministerial cabinet chaired by Gustavo Adrianzén.
