Éric Pauget

Éric Pauget (French pronunciation: [eʁik poʒɛ]; born 18 August 1970) is a French politician who has represented the 7th constituency of the Alpes-Maritimes department in the National Assembly since 2017.

[4] In addition to his committee assignments, he is part of the French-Israeli Parliamentary Friendship Group.

[4] In 2018, Pauget joined the leadership of Soyons Libres as a vice president (while remaining a member of The Republicans), a minor party of which he has been a member since 2017 and where he is in charge of relations with the National Assembly.

[5] In the run-up to the Republicans’ 2022 convention, Pauget endorsed Éric Ciotti as the party's chairman.

[7] A few months later, he sponsored a bill to have prison inmates pay part of the cost of their incarceration.
