Ōminato Station (大湊駅, Ōminato-eki) is a railway station in the city of Mutsu, Aomori, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).
[2] The station has two side platforms serving two terminating tracks.
The station building has a Midori no Madoguchi staffed ticket office.
With the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR, the successor to the JGR) on April 1, 1987, it came under the operational control of JR East.
