Šardice

Šardice is a municipality and village in Hodonín District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

In 1370, the village was acquired by the Augustinian monastery in Brno.

Except for the years 1420–1446 and 1475–1492, when the village passed into the ownership of various nobles, it was a property of the monastery.

The main landmark of Šardice is the Church of Saint Michael the Archangel.

It was built in the late Baroque style in 1754–1758, on the foundations of a Gothic church from the 13th century.
