Škale (pronounced [ˈʃkaːlɛ], German: Skalis[2][3]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Velenje in northern Slovenia.
The entire municipality is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region.
[4] The former parish church, dedicated to Saint George, was demolished on September 27, 1951 (when the bell tower was dynamited).
[5][6] A new smaller filial church dedicated to Saint Joseph was built in 1976 in a new location.
