Żyrwiny

Żyrwiny ([ʐɨrˈvinɨ]; Lithuanian: Zervynai[2]) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szypliszki, within Suwałki County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Lithuania.

[3] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of Szypliszki, 24 km (15 mi) north-east of Suwałki, and 128 km (80 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.

According to the 1921 census, the village had a population of 64, entirely Polish by nationality and Roman Catholic by confession.
