Žabovřesky nad Ohří

It lies in an agricultural landscape of the Lower Ohře Table.

The municipality is situated on the left bank of the Ohře river.

The first written mention of Žabovřesky nad Ohří is in a deed of King John of Bohemia from 1336.

Among the owners of the village were the noble families of Sternberg, Dietrichstein and Herbstein.

The only protected cultural monument is a late Baroque chapel from the end of the 18th century.
