Žanis Blumbergs (Russian: Жан Карлович Блюмберг; September 21, 1889 – April 26, 1938) was a Soviet military leader and division commander (November 26, 1935).
[1] He was born on September 21, 1889, in the town of Altauc, Courland Governorate (now in Vecauce Parish, Latvia) in a family of Latvian peasants.
