1917 Camp Dix football team

The 1917 Camp Dix football team represented the United States Army's Camp Dix located near Trenton, New Jersey, during the 1917 college football season.

Quarterback Oscar "Ockie" Anderson, formerly of Colgate, was selected on November 22, 1917, as the team's captain.

Before the formation of an all-cantonment team, various units within Fort Dix had also competed in football.

For example, a team representing the 307th Field Artillery at Camp Dix played a game against Princeton on October 27.

[2] Teams representing individual regiments also competed in well-attended games.
