1929–30 New York Rangers season

In the regular season, the Rangers finished third in the American Division with a 17–17–10 record.

New York qualified for the Stanley Cup playoffs, where the Rangers defeated the Ottawa Senators 6–3 in a two-game, total-goals series, but lost to the Montreal Canadiens 2–0 in the semi-finals.
