1936 Kirksville Bulldogs football team

The 1936 Kirksville Bulldogs football team represented the Kirksville State Teachers College (also known as Northeast Missouri State Teachers College, later renamed as Truman State University) as a member of the Missouri Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) during the 1936 college football season.

In their second year under head coach Fred Faurot, the Bulldogs compiled a 7–0 record (4–0 against conference opponents), won the MIAA championship, and outscored opponents by a total of 79 to 29.

The team had not lost a game against an MIAA opponent since 1931.

[2] Between 1933 and 1936, Kirksville lost only one game and had four perfect seasons in five years: 1932 (8–0), 1933 (9–0), 1934 (8–0), and 1936 (7–0).
