1963 Turkey Day 200

The 1963 Turkey Day 200 was a NASCAR Grand National Series event that was held on November 22, 1962, at Tar Heel Speedway in Randleman, North Carolina.

With Wood on the sidelines, Jim Paschal and his hometown Petty Enterprise Plymouth sped to victory.

Still it was a great day for the family as in addition to Paschal's win Richard's mechanic brother Maurice Petty, racing with Lee's famous #42, turned in a top-5 run.
