In the 1976–77 season Associazione Calcio Torino competed in Serie A, Coppa Italia and European Cup.

During summer the club transferred in left-back defender Luigi Danova and midfielder Cesare Crotti.

However, both Juventus an Toro clinched more victories and points than other season of 30 rounds.
