The 1979–80 Furman Paladins men's basketball team represented Furman University in the 1979–80 NCAA Division I men's basketball season.

The Paladins, led by second-year head coach Eddie Holbrook, played their home games at Greenville Memorial Auditorium in Greenville, South Carolina, as members of the Southern Conference.
