The 1982 Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils football team represented Mississippi Valley State University as a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) during the 1982 NCAA Division I-AA football season.
Led by third-year head coach Archie Cooley, the Delta Devils compiled an overall record of 5–5, with a conference record of 2–4, and finished fifth in the SWAC.
