The 1982 Pittsburgh Pirates season was the 101st season of the Pittsburgh Pirates franchise; their 96th in the National League.

The Pirates finished fourth in the National League East with a record of 84–78, eight games behind the eventual NL and World Series champion St. Louis Cardinals.
