The 1984–85 Sarajevo season was the club's 38th season in history, and their 36th season in the top flight of Yugoslav football, the Yugoslav First League.
Besides competing in the First League, the team competed in the National Cup.
In this season Sarajevo became the Yugoslav champion for the second time in the history of the club.
