1984 Tennessee State Tigers football team

The 1984 Tennessee State Tigers football team represented Tennessee State University as an independent during the 1984 NCAA Division I-AA football season.

Led by first-year head coach William A. Thomas, the Tigers compiled an overall record of 11–0.

At the conclusion of the season, the Tigers were also recognized as black college national champion.
