1986 Arizona House of Representatives election

James J. Sossaman[1] Republican Joe Lane[2] Republican The 1986 Arizona House of Representatives elections were held on November 4, 1986.

Voters elected all 60 members of the Arizona House of Representatives in multi-member districts to serve a two-year term.

The elections coincided with the elections for other offices, including Governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, and State Senate.

Following the elections, Republicans maintained control of the chamber, though their majority was reduced to 36 Republicans to 24 Democrats, a net gain of two seats for Democrats.
