1987 NatWest Trophy

It was an English limited overs county cricket tournament which was held between 24 June and 5 September 1987.

[1] The tournament was won by Nottinghamshire who defeated Northamptonshire by 3 wickets in the final at Lord's.

The seventeen first-class counties, were joined by thirteen Minor Counties: Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Cheshire, Cumberland, Devon, Dorset, Durham, Hertfordshire, Northumberland, Oxfordshire, Staffordshire, Suffolk and Wiltshire.

The Ireland and Scotland teams also participated.

The winners in the second round then progressed to the quarter-final stage.
