The 1988 Texas Southern Tigers football team represented Texas Southern University as a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) during the 1988 NCAA Division I-AA football season.
Led by fifth-year head coach Lionel Taylor, the Tigers compiled an overall record of 0–11, with a mark of 0–7 in conference play, and finished eighth in the SWAC.
