The 1992 Western Carolina Catamounts team was an American football team that represented Western Carolina University as a member of the Southern Conference (SoCon) during the 1992 NCAA Division I-AA football season.
In their third year under head coach Steve Hodgin, the team compiled an overall record of 7–4, with a mark of 5–2 in conference play, and finished tied for second in the SoCon.
