1993 Masters Tournament

Bernhard Langer won his second Masters championship, four strokes ahead of runner-up Chip Beck.

[2][3] Heavy rains on Friday afternoon caused a delay and the second round was not completed until Saturday morning.

Jeff Maggert was the leader in the clubhouse at 137 (−7) while Langer was at six-under after sixteen holes when darkness suspended play.

Playing in the final pairing with Langer, Beck trailed by three shots at the par-5 15th, chose to lay up, missed the green, and scrambled for par.
