The 1993 UK Championship (officially the 1993 Royal Liver Assurance UK Championship) was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place at the Guild Hall in Preston, England.
The highest break of the tournament was a 141 made by David Roe.
Ronnie O'Sullivan became the youngest winner of a ranking event at the age of 17 years and 358 days[1] by defeating Stephen Hendry 10–6 in the final; as of 2023 this record still stands.
This was the first of O'Sullivan's record eight titles at the tournament.
