1993 World Series of Poker

There were 20 preliminary events at the 1993 World Series of Poker.

[1] Phil Hellmuth and Ted Forrest both won three bracelets during the 1993 WSOP, tying a record for a single World Series originally set by Puggy Pearson in the 1973 WSOP.

[2] Hellmuth narrowly missed a fourth bracelet in the final event, losing to future Hall of Famer Billy Baxter.

[3] Each paid $10,000 to enter the tournament, with the top 27 players finishing in the money.
