Boogert and Rubin lost in the quarter-finals to Vickie Paynter and Nicole Pratt.

Kyōko Nagatsuka and Ai Sugiyama won in the final 2–6, 6–4, 6–2 against Manon Bollegraf and Larisa Neiland.
