1999 Isle of Man TT

David Jefferies won three TTs during the event, including the marquee Senior TT race, more than anyone that year.

[1] The first race of the event, the Formula One TT, was red flagged on lap one after the TT career ending[2] accident of Paul Orritt at Bray Hill.

[3] The event was marred by the death of four competitors: sidecar passengers Bernadette Bosman[4] and Terry Fenton,[5] and solo class riders Simon Beck[6] and Stuart Murdoch.

[7] Beck was a podium finisher at the 1997 Isle of Man TT.

Geoff McMullan and Nick Jefferies are tied for third place.
