2000 Skate America

The 2000 Skate America was the first event of six in the 2000–01 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series.

Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.

[1][2] Skaters earned points toward qualifying for the 2000–01 Grand Prix Final.

The compulsory dance was the Westminster Waltz.

Guo Zhengxin was assigned[3] to Skate America but did not compete.
