The 2002 Havering Council election took place on 2 May 2002 to elect members of Havering London Borough Council in London, England.

New ward boundaries were in use for the first time and the number of councillors reduced from the previous election.

Prior to the 2002 election the council had 63 councillors.

Each ward returned three councillors.
