2007–08 Detroit Pistons season

The Central Division Pistons finished the regular season with a 59–23 record, 14 games ahead of the second place Cavaliers.

The Pistons lost to the eventual NBA champions Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals two games to four.

The Pistons wore the #50 on the upper left side of their jerseys in honor of the 50th anniversary of them playing in Detroit.

They also signed forward Antonio McDyess to a 2-year contract extension and center Cheikh Samb.

On May 13, 2008, Richard Hamilton surpassed Isiah Thomas as the all-time Piston leading scorer in the playoffs.
