The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies finished first overall in the regular season winning their first Jean Rougeau Trophy.

On November 21, 2007, the QMJHL All-stars defeated the Russian Selects 3–2 at the Robert Guertin Centre.
Since the tournament began in 2003, the QMJHL All-stars have won six games, the Russian Selects have four wins.
