2007 FIFA Women's World Cup qualification

[1] 32 teams entered the African Championships and competed for the two available spots, but six withdrew during the qualifying session.

Fourth-placed  Japan qualified for a play-off match with  Mexico, the third-placed team from the 2006 CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup.

[5] New Zealand won this tournament and qualified for the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Argentina qualified on 26 November by defeating Brazil and earning a total of 7, thus winning the tournament.

The draw for the order of legs was held at the Westin Hotel in Tokyo, Japan on 15 December 2006.
