2007 Walker Cup

The 41st Walker Cup Match was played on 8 and 9 September 2007 at the Royal County Down Golf Club in Newcastle, County Down, Northern Ireland.

Each of the 24 matches is worth one point in the larger team competition.

The team that accumulates at least 12½ points wins the competition.

Ten players for the USA and Great Britain & Ireland participate in the event plus one non-playing captain for each team.

In 1908, King Edward VII conferred "Royal" status to the club.
