The East Bengal Ground is used for the Calcutta Football League matches.

In 2009, under coach Subhash Bhowmick, East Bengal FC toured Myanmar in August for a set of friendlies as a part of their pre-season campaign after a heavy training camp in Puri, Odisha.

The Red and Gold brigade had imported players like Jan Berger, Omar Sebastián Monesterolo and Ramez Dayoub, however, the latter could not be a part of the team since his previous club Safa SC denied transfer clearance.
