The 2009 Missouri State Bears football team represented Missouri State University as a member of the Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) during the 2009 NCAA Division I FCS football season.
Led by fourth-year head coach Terry Allen, the Bears compiled an overall record of 6–5, with a mark of 4–4 in conference play, and finished tied for fifth in the MVFC.
