2010–11 Houston Rockets season

The 2010–11 Houston Rockets season was the 44th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the 40th based in Houston.

He played only 5 games because of recurring injuries that interrupted his career.

Despite his injuries, he was selected to play in the 2011 NBA All-Star Game as a starter, but he was unable to participate.

The Rockets ended the season with a 43–39 record without the playoffs.

After the season, head coach Rick Adelman left to coach the Minnesota Timberwolves and Yao retired.
