The club competed in Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and the UEFA Europa League.

During the pre-season, Lazio purchased Djibril Cissé from Panathinaikos,[2] Miroslav Klose from Bayern Munich, Abdoulay Konko from Genoa, Lorik Cana from Galatasaray[3] and Senad Lulić from Young Boys.
