In the quarter-finals and semi-finals, each tie was played over two legs on a home-and-away basis.

[2] After the completion of the round of 16, the draw for the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 7 June 2011.
While the bracket below shows the entire knockout stage, the draw for the round of 16 matches was determined at the time of the group draw, and kept teams from East and West Asia completely separate for that round.
The final was played 5 November 2011 at home of one of the finalists, decided by draw.
