It took place in Doha, Qatar for the second time.

The competition was held in Doha from 12 to 21 August.

[1] Oman won their first title after defeating United Arab Emirates 4–2 on penalties in the final.

[2] In the knockout stage, extra time and penalty shoot-out were to be used to decide the winner if necessary (Regulations Articles 10.1 and 10.3).

The following awards were given at the conclusion of the tournament: There have been 35 goals scored in 11 matches, for an average of 3.18 goals per match.
