2013–14 Golden State Warriors season

The 2013–14 Golden State Warriors season was the 68th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the 52nd anniversary of their time in the San Francisco Bay Area.

They finished the regular season with a record of 51–31, clinching the sixth seed in the Western Conference.

In the playoffs, the Warriors faced the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the playoffs, and lost in seven games.

Prior to their breakout season the next year and the subsequent dynasty years that followed and lasted until the end of the decade, this was the last season that the Warriors would fail to qualify for the NBA Finals until 2020, as well as the last season that the Warriors would get eliminated in the playoffs before the NBA Finals until 2023.

Following the season, Mark Jackson was dismissed as the Warriors head coach, and Steve Kerr became the new head coach.
