2013 IIHF Women's World Championship Division I

The Division I Group A tournament was played at DNB Arena in Stavanger, Norway, from 7 to 13 April 2013.

[1] The winners of this tournament were initially presumed to be promoted to the 2015 Top Division.

[2] So Japan, as the last team of the 2014 Olympics, did not participate in the World Championships in 2014 and advanced to the 2015 Top Division playoff.
