The 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the Canadian women's national curling championship, was held from February 16 to 24 at the K-Rock Centre in Kingston, Ontario.
[4] Homan and her team went on to represent Canada at the 2013 World Women's Curling Championship in Riga, Latvia.
In the fifty-third edition of the Canadian Women's Curling Championship, there was a mix of veterans and newer faces in the team rosters.
Jones made up for her poor play in the page playoffs, securing an 8–5 win for a spot in the final.
