The 2014–15 figure skating season began on July 1, 2014, and ended on June 30, 2015.
Beginning with this season, singles and pairs skaters were allowed to use music with lyrics in competition.
Previously, they were restricted to instrumental music, including vocals without words.
Skaters competing at the junior level were required to be at least 13 years of age before July 1, 2014.
