The 2015–16 Iowa Hawkeyes men's basketball team represented the University of Iowa in the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season.
The team was led by sixth–year head coach Fran McCaffery and played their home games at Carver–Hawkeye Arena.
In the Big Ten tournament, they were upset by Illinois in the second round.
They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament where they defeated Temple in the first round before losing to eventual National Champion Villanova in the second round.
