Following the season, tragedy struck as Bryce Dejean-Jones was shot dead while shouting for his girlfriend for his daughter's first birthday at the Dallas apartment.
Dejean-Jones death was the first for an active NBA player since Eddie Griffin, who died in a car accident in 2007.
