The Sooners played their home games at L. Dale Mitchell Baseball Park as a member of the Big 12 Conference.

They were led by head coach Pete Hughes, in his second season at Oklahoma.

In 2014, the Sooners finished the season 8th in the Big 12 with a record of 29–29, 8–16 in conference play.

They qualified for the 2014 Big 12 Conference baseball tournament, and were eliminated in the second round.
