Martin Allen left for Eastleigh on 1 December, and Rossi Eames & Henry Newman were appointed interim managers on the same date.

[3] Eames took charge of a win over Morecambe alone on 14 February, and Newman departed the club the following day.

Kevin Nugent was then appointed first team coach on the same day, with Eames assisting.

[4] Nugent left by mutual consent on 15 April 2017, with Eames returning to take charge of the team.
