2016 China Open (snooker)

The 2016 BAIC Motor China Open was a professional ranking snooker tournament, that took place between 28 March and 3 April 2016 at the Beijing University Students' Gymnasium in Beijing, China.

[1] Mark Selby was the defending champion, but he withdrew for personal reasons.

[2] Judd Trump defeated Ricky Walden 10–4 in the final to win his fifth career ranking title.

The "rolling 147 prize" for a maximum break stood at £15,000, but was not won.

These matches were played from 9–11 February 2016 at the Barnsley Metrodome in Barnsley, England, except for 4 matches which were held over to be played in Beijing on 28 March 2016.
