2016 FIA Formula 3 European Championship

Felix Rosenqvist was the defending drivers' champion,[1] but was unable to defend his title, because of a new rule which determined that drivers could spend no more than three years in the category.

The following teams and drivers competed during the 2016 season:[2] A provisional ten-round calendar was announced on 2 December 2015.
