The 2016 West Virginia Mountaineers baseball team represented West Virginia University during the 2016 NCAA Division I baseball season.

The Mountaineers played their home games at Monongalia County Ballpark as a member of the Big 12 Conference.

WVU qualified for the 2015 Big 12 Conference baseball tournament and were eliminated in the second round.

They failed to qualify for the 2015 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.
